I Encontro Internacional de Língua Portuguesa e Relações Lusófonas (LUSOCONF2018)

O Instituto Politécnico de Bragança (IPB) tem a honra de anunciar o I Encontro Internacional de Língua Portuguesa e Relações Lusófonas (LUSOCONF2018) que decorrerá na Escola Superior de Educação de Bragança, nos dias 19 e 20 de outubro de 2018. O LUSOCONF2018 pretende ser um espaço de ampla discussão de temáticas em diversas áreas relevantes no âmbito da lusofonia.

O I Encontro Internacional de Língua Portuguesa e Relações Lusófonas (LUSOCONF2018) será um tempo e um espaço de partilha e de construção de conhecimento sobre as mais diversas áreas. A lusofonia, porém, é o seu elemento identitário. Vários apontaram a importância da relação entre o conhecimento e a língua. Entre nós, Raúl Brandão foi certeiro: «[…] o que nos vale são as palavras, para termos a que nos agarrar». O LUSOCONF viverá do conhecimento, mas, também, desse particular som e sentido das palavras da língua que nos une e que nos expande. Não uma língua perfeita, mas a língua das nossas relações, a língua com que trocamos conhecimento, a língua com que nos entendemos e entendemos o mundo, a língua que dá voz aos nossos sonhos e à nossa esperança. The Polytechnic Institute of Bragança (IPB) has the honour to announce the 1st International Conference on Portuguese Language and Lusophone Relations (LUSOCONF2018), to be held at the School of Education in Bragança, on the 19th and 20th October 2018. The LUSOCONF2018 intends to be a space for wide discussion of thematics in several relevant areas within the scope of lusophony.

The 1st International Conference on Portuguese Language and Lusophone Relations (LUSOCONF2018)will be a time and a place to share and build knowledge in several domains. Notwithstanding, Lusophone relations will be its identity element. Many have pointed the importance of the relation between knowledge and language. Among us, Raúl Brandão was right: “words are what help us, so that we have something to hold ourselves to”. LUSOCONF will live on that knowledge, but, also, on that particular sound and meaning of the words of the language that units us and that expands us. Not a perfect language, but the language of our relationships, the language by which we exchange knowledge, the language by which we understand each other and understand the world, the language that gives voice to our dreams and to our hope. We look forward to see you at LUSOCONF!
